Job Position Available: SALES ADMINISTRATOR

Job brief

We are looking for a Sales Administrator to join our sales team to assist with the processing of quotations, orders and invoices as well as assisting with customer queries. The successful candidate will be based at the head office in Centurion. 

We’re looking for a driven and motivated individual with a keen eye for detail, strong customer service skills and the ability to multi-task efficiently. You should also be trustworthy and an excellent communicator.

Your goal will be to ensure our customers are satisfied and needs are met when it comes to efficient service delivery. This is not a cold-calling sales position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing customer quotations and sales orders. 
  • Responding to customer queries and orders via telephone and email 
  • Process web sales as well as assist walk-in customers. 
  • Assess customer’s needs and provide assistance and information on product features
  • Filing and document management
  • Working with courier companies to ship orders to customers
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
  • Process POS (point of sale) purchases
  • Team up with co-workers to ensure efficient customer service
  • Build productive trust relationships with customers

 

Requirements and skills

  • Must be reliable and honest and willing to contribute to the company’s success.
  • Proven work experience in sales in either the retail or wholesale industry.
  • Must be capable of working under pressure as well as working both independently as well as in a team.
  • Requires good problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Basic to intermediate Mathematics skills.
  • Proficient computer skills using Windows as well as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles will be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with inventory procedures advantageous
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • A friendly and energetic personality with a customer service focus
  • Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints and queries in a timely manner
  • Matric or higher qualification

Availability:

  • The successful candidate should be available to commence work on 1 April 2024 or sooner if possible.

 

Location and Working Hours

  • The successful candidate will be based at the company’s head office in Rooihuiskraal, Centurion.
  • Working hours will be Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and Saturdays from 9am to 12pm.
